ABSTRACT
With the rapid development of China’s social economy, the level of music in universities has been greatly improved, and chorus teaching in universities has achieved long-term development. As an educational concept, curriculum ideological and political education plays an important moral function in college chorus teaching, which can integrate the values and cultural elements contained in the curriculum, and provide students with rational guidance on values in a subtle way to assist in the development of choir teaching. This paper will explore the reform and practice of integrating ideological and political courses into chorus teaching in universities from four aspects, including the back ground, importance, existing problems, and optimization paths.
