ABSTRACT
In the digital era represented by artificial intelligence technology, human beings’ modes of production and life, traditional ethical values, and social order have undergone tremendous changes. Among them, legal education faces new opportunities and challenges, posing new requirements for the cultivation of legal talents’ abilities and qualities. The model of traditional talent cultivation in legal education is difficult to meet the social needs of the digital era, and there is an urgent need for deep integration with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data to cultivate interdisciplinary legal talents for the new era. However, in the process of integration, attention should be paid to relevant challenges such as the relatively backward legal thinking and legal concepts, rigid teaching models, inflexible professional curriculum systems, and the disconnection between theoretical and practical teaching. To address these issues, measures can be taken to further deepen the integration of legal education and artificial intelligence by promoting the intellectualization of legal education, the intellectualization of legal thinking and methods, and the development of “artificial intelligence + law” courses.
